CAUTION
Taking Hydrochlorothiazide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.

Uses of Ramifid H Tablet
Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension.
How to use Ramifid H Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet works
Ramifid H 2.5mg/12mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ramipril and hydrochlorothiazide which lower blood pressure effectively. Ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
